Any left handed writers here?March 31 2009 at 12:07 PM | N. Flanders (no login) |
| Hi All,
As you may have guessed from the message title, I am left handed. I have found this to be a handicap (only :D) in connection with writing with fountain pens (and to some extent other types of pens with large distribution of wet ink). The main issue with fountain pens are that left handed writers - or at least I - tend to push in stead of dragging the nib. With other wet ink pens, I often end up rubbing my hand over the wet ink with an artistic result that I will leave to your imagination rather than describing it in words
Have anybody else have experienced this? Solved it? Or have left handed people just given up on pens and are not to be found in this forum?
I would love to hear your input - left or right handed!
Kind regards

I'm left-handed. I almost gave up fountain pens because my hand smeared what I wrote, but found that Noodler's SwishMix ink from swisherpens.com pretty much solved the problem, The only colors I've tried are Tahitian Pearl and Nile Ebony.
