Help me pick a pen.... (bp twist top)

OK
I want to find a fun pen for daily carry.
I do not want a fountain, just never have written well with
them and have had a mess made a time or two by them.
Nor would I take proper time to care for and maintain one.
I like to clip my pen to the inside of my Jeans pocket (I tend to wear jeans and Lacoste shirts or TShirts)
or if wearing a Lacoste I clip it in the collar.
Currently I am carrying a MB I think its called Skywritter (blue pen with the star in a floating glass top). I really like the blue as it is striking....

I love the pen BUT I have to unscrew the top and then screw it to the
other end.... I need something quicker, Id like a twist top or something like that. Something tough (so it can be carried in the front pocket of my blue jeans). I like to carry a nice pen, not just looking for a Fisher Space Pen (have one already)

Any suggestions???

Oh yes, if it has silver or gold accents on it I much rather the white gold/silver/plat.... Just not a yellow gold person unless dressed up

I have 3 MB's now that is about it for my pens.
I do not mind spending a few hundred for this but I
do not want to carry an $800 + pen

Thanks!

Still think the Faber Castell E-Motion range is good. Not considering?

Another vote for Faber Castell ballpoints...

I personally like Faber Castell's pens and pencils very much. Very high quality, good weight, good balance, and ergonomic.

Another pen to consider is the Caran d'Ache ballpoints which look simple but have a very ingenious construction. Caran d'Ache pens are Swiss made and used in the Rolex and Patek Philippe factory by their employees!

Have you looked at the....

Have you looked at the Cartier line of pens? I have the Happy Birthday model and it's been a pleasure to write with. It's a little on the heavy side but feels great. FYI, Since you have a Bell & Ross hydromax in your collection, there is a limited production pen set (I think only for B&R AD's) that just came out. I'll post mine when I get a chance. It's a gun metal dark grey almost black metallic color for the ballpoint and light grey for the pencil. The logo is on the cap similar to your MB.

I believe you have a MB sky walker not sky writter. Please let us know what you decide on. Hope this helps.

ST Dupont

Have you looked at ST Dupont Orpheo BPs? They're a really stylish design. There is usually a ballpoint that follows the design of a fountain pen. They use a lot of Palladium, Platinum, and Chinese Lacquer in manufacture. I have two of these - the Shaman and Andalusia - and like them both very much.

Good luck and enjoy your hunt!
