Vistconti ECO roller

Every once in a long while, there is a small innovation in the pen world. Schmidt has agreed to a 4-year exclusive with Visconti for a rollerball tip that takes a cartridge converter--in principle similar as what Monteverde released a few years back, but now in a form factor that looks, well, normal. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this pen yet. I've used one now for two weeks, and must say that it took a couple of days for the ink to saturate the roller tip. After that, however, it has written rather beautifully. It even has some mild line variation--but is overall a medium line. It's no replacement for a fountain, but for those of you beholden to non-fountain instruments for work documents, this is a nice compromise/second writing instrument. I will look forward to Visconti's expanding this tip's usage throughout its line.
