I only fly with Star Alliance (usually United and Lufthansa) and Southwest. I haven't flown on One World airlines in many years.
In my experience, the service I've received in Lufthansa has been consistently and always above the service I received in the other airlines I frequent (usually United). However, if I ever experienced something as dissatisfying as the experience you received, I would inform the purser and fill out a Lufthansa comment card. I consider myself to be a very fair person, if I receive exceptional service, I will complete a comment card with favorable remarks; if I receive dissatisfactory service, I will complete a comment card with a description of what was lacking and a suggestion of how it can be improved. With the case of Lufthansa, each comment card that is sent to corporate by a passenger is replied to via email with a personalized message (as opposed to a standardized computerized message) that describes what action was taken based upon your comments.
Unfortunately, during my stay in the Lufthansa Frankfurt First Class Terminal, I didn't get a chance to try the famed Johnny Walker Blue Label. |
