Networking Macs in a MS Network

Girls and Guys hello and good evening. Just want to post something - actually im having trouble joining a mac to a windows network - you know, tcp/ip protocals etc - its a mac os9x, - a G3 so should be pretty uptodate.

The thing is i dont have documentation to fall back on so am abit stumped.

Any ideas?

kinda depends, what type of network are you joining.

is it a windows domain or a windows workgroup?

also what OS are you running.

since this was posted back in 2002 i would assume you are running OS X.2 or similar
