I couldn't agree more. There are times when the use of English by a non-English speaking company is welcome. For example the Smart ForFour sounds very funky and cleverly describes the car.
On the other hand, the Maserati Quattroporte sounds wonderfully exotic, but the Maserati Fourdoor would have sounded very dull. I know the music of Giuseppi Verdi would sound great whatever his name, but I can't help feeling a little glad that he wasn't christened Joe Green.
Where is the passion in the prosaic 8 Days? It just sounds so bog standard.
