A considerable number of observers and analysts have asserted that, of the various combative sports, it's wrestling that females are best physically suited for.
The quantity of girls participating in high school wrestling has continued to increase gradually. However, around the country the number of female vs. male interscholstic matches is likely to begin to decrease. The growing number of girls taking part in the sport enlarges the opportunities for girl vs. girl competition.
At present at least three states have established a state wrestling tournament for girls that is separate from the boys' tournament and other states are considering doing that....Don't know whether in any of those three states girls ever wrestle boys in league or non-tournament competition.
