The comment about girls wrestling successfully against boys at the jv level but not often in varsity competiton referred only to girls in the higher weight classes...it's a topic that is included in the poll. (Each of the comments was associated with a poll question.)
Certainly it's well established that an appreciable number of girls in the lighter weight categories have wrestled successfully against boys in recent years. Not long ago one of the posters here - didn't find the post now - mentioned 3 girls (or was it 4?) who had won close to or more than 100 matches in the state of Maine, competing against boys on their high scholl varsity teams.
