I am interested in obtaining a family tree of Sir William Pickles Hartley. He was the founder of Hartley's Jams. My great-aunt told me we were related, but I do not know how. I have also read that he was related to Wallace Hartley, the famous musician who died on the Titanic. I would love to know if these two men are related to each other and if either of them are related to my line of the Hartley's. My g-g-grandmother was Elizabeth Hartley Hadfield. She married John Hadfield in Manchester on December 25, 1862. Elizabeth's parent's may have been John Hartley and Leah Silver. Elizabeth died in the US around 1896.
