Have you ever tried to contact Larry Donovan, or someone at the Mountlake Terrace headquarters for MBSNF? somebody there should have more information on Mount Pilchuck and its operations if needed. i know i did a research project in the 7th or 8th grade on the ski area and i was provided with information from that office, it was kinda a 'recreation plan' that laid out the reasons for the area demise.
also, the Mountaineers in Seattle or wherever may have some old timers or archives of Yodelin. Or Jake Moe might be of some help also.
this is all really intersting to read. i find it especially interesting about yodelin and mt pilchuck, as they both seemed like areas that had potential and had a lot of lift infrastructure at the time, then all the sudden vanished off the ski maps.
