One of the TVs shows a pollen counter. Does this have anything to do with the game?

Yes.
you won't really understand until you've gotten the pollen count up though. . . ah spring in the arboretum.(sp?) anyway, it doesn't REALLY matter until then and even then the counter is sort of an afterthought. . .

I meant to mention that to you. It was in the contract you signed at $45,000 a year. Which you also chose to waive (you should really read the microdots disguised as periods before you sign things).

The pollen count does have a purpose. When the pollen count gets high, SOMEONE gets hayfever

WordSmith?!?

March 12 2004, 4:44 PM

At first, I wondered if I should take offense at the "WordSmith explain yourself" remark, then I thought I should take it with the same humour as John Cleese's eulogy to Graham Chapman. I almost did a double-take when WordSmith seemed to *reply!* Ghosts?

Then I realized what was going on. Someone replied to a thread from 2002, bringing the entire tread up to the top of the list.

So, Doug, what happened? Why did you dig up this old thread?

Sorry about the duplicated message. When I lost connection, I thought it hadn't been posted, and I pressed the "Reload" button, not realizing that that would send the form a second time.

This brings back memories. I'm glad Doug brought it back up. One more laugh from WordSmith.

me, too.

"Life holds so many priceless things
The falling rain--the wind that sings
Each star on a high--a big full moon
And sunbeams dancing in your room.
Each magic moment--treasured time
These priceless gifts are yours and mine..."

Aw, what a nice memory from the past. It does seem strange when someone posts on an old thread. He is still missed.
