Karloff for Christmas!

by

Well, the silver bells are ringing in the holiday season, and it's time to
reflect on the spirit of Christmas. One of those enduring spirits is
reflected in Boris Karloff's Scrooge-like portrayal of the Grinch in "How
The Grinch Stole Christmas" in the Christmas issue of HORROR-WOOD Webzine,
just published on the World Weird Web. Do you have some folks that are hard
to buy presents for? Well, just check out the "Ghoulish Gifts For Good
Boils And Ghouls" to pick up some gift ideas available on the Web. Tired of
the usual Christmas flicks? We have a list of creepy Christmas classic to
blighten your Yuletide this year in ""Scary" Christmas Video Picks." We
also continue our series of articles on the making of that classic
"head-turner" flick, "The Exorcist," where we learn about the film's
pre-production deviltry. What happened when they took Roger Corman's neat
little cheap chiller "The Little Shop Of Horrors" and taught it to sing and
dance? Find out in "All Singing! All Dancing! All Eating!" Speaking of
Roger the C., we have a retrospective on one of his more enjoyable early
schlockers in "Crabs, Corman, And Claws, Oh My!" Meanwhile, John-John is
"Tor"-e up after watching "Night Of The Ghouls." All this and more in the
holiday issue of HORROR-WOOD! Crawl, creep, or slither over to:

We'll be "lurking" for you! Cheers!
