DotD

*>>I enjoyed DotD to a certain extent, but I don't understand the praise lavished upon it... c'mon, even Leonard Maltin dug Dawn. What's so special about it? I thought the acting was decent and the FX were pretty good (not phenomenal), but nothing about it screamed CLASSIC to me.<<*

I think it's just the feeling you get from watching it. It's such a desolate, apocalyptic feeling. I've always had fantasies of the world being overrun by the living dead so I could run around blowing their asses away. Watching 'Dawn of the Dead' was like living it out, as much as possible. It's "perfect baby, perfect." hehe
