good luck on your adventure, i will be doing the same next week, i had a go at the weekend and my pieces had spread slightly after coming out of the oven, so i placed the cardboard cutout on top and used a pizza cutter and trimmed away the excess quickly while still hot and had no problems asembling the houses.
another tip, i tried the recipe from loreta on this website and it came out great (thanks loreta!!!!) i used aluminum foil to roll out the dough on and then transfered the dough on the aluminum foil to the baking tray and cooked the pieces, this is another great tip from the site, no more stretched pieces trying to get them from your work surface to the baking tray, hope this was helpful, please let us know how it went jo
