In place of using electrical lighting, use a battery pack unit. They come in 25 and 50. I use them all the time and just be sure to cut your nooks where you want the actual lights to go. The battery pack itself I usually hide under a porch or sled, or even a tree. I have made logs that removes from the base of my houses.
