| I've just made Loreta's gingerbread recipe using blackstrap molasses bought at my local supermarket. The resulting gingerbread is in-edible. It really does taste awful. I'm from New Zealand and am wondering if our molasses is different than yours? Ours isn't sweet at all - quite a strong almost savoury flavour. Any ideas?
