| Usually, lace work is done on a flat surface (I like to lay waxed paper over a pattern) and pipe over the top. When it's dry, it peels off quickly and then you can "glue it on" for icicles, those just are piped in place. Just anchor your frosting tip at the eve line and GEnTLY pull away (and ease up on the pressure at the same time) it should give you a pointy dangling icicle. |
