Had you uploaded the photo yet? If so, perhaps you were expecting see the actual photo after you clicked "Insert Image".
When you click "Insert", you will then be brought back to your message. You WILL NOT see the picture, but will instead see a line of text that says something like "
http://www.network54.com/Realm/Frankysattic/'name of your photo.jpg'".
This is the link to your picture. To see the photo, click "Post" or "Respond" and you will be back to the bulletin board thread. Now go back into your message, and the photo should be there for all to see.
