Edible Gingerbread House Recipe

This is my first time. I want to use a recipe that is delicious to eat. The point of my house is I want to eat it! I don't want it to last more than a couple of days to look at. From reading on this site, especially Gingerbread plywood, it seems that you trade taste for strength and durability. What would you suggest?
