| I bake the gingerbread flat and then right when it comes out of the oven I drap around the curved object. I've never had the dough crack - since it comes right out of the oven and is hot and pliable - it takes the curve well. Wish I could provide more help - I don't know if a thinner or thicker peice would work better. Not too good at physics....
