2 years ago, my friend and I made The Old Lady who Lived in a Shoe Gingerbread house...all rounded pieces. We made a clay form, in two halves and baked it on the mold and let it cool on the mold. We held the halves together with royal icing.We were very successful. Got an honorable mention in the top 10 at the contest in Asheville, NC.
