Help!! Dome-shaped roof.

Hi!! I'm quite new to baking gingerbread houses and I just wanted to ask-

Is it possible to make a domed roof? (:

Like how cylindrical pieces of gingerbread are made?

Would actually draping gingerbread straight out the oven onto the underside of a rounded bowl work?
