sorry guys, I forgot the most important part of my response above regarding "painting" the interior side of the house pieces. The royal icing MUST be "watered down" & a coat painted on with a pastry brush & left to dry just a few minutes. Can you imagine painting on regular "strength" royal icing??????????? sorry for leaving out that important detail. lots of luck! Anne
