Gingerbread Presentation

For my University course I have to give a 10 minute presentation on any subject I like. I was thinking about doing one on gingerbread and gingerbread houses in particular, as the course Im doing is to do with the construction industry.
My plan is to do a brief introduction on the history of gingerbread and gingerbread houses, the ingredients used, competitions that you can compete in etc etc.
I would very much appreciate any advice or information you may be able to offer me.
(Im also planning on making a very simple house as well).
