I was visiting with a friend "on line",
last night ...
And the subject of ~ “Hugs” ~ came up.
Now .... admittedly .... I like hugs!!
I like to give them ... I like to get them!!!
But .....
As my friend said .....
What good are they really???
Do they actually fix anything???
erm ..... I suppose not ... ~ sighs ~
And they sure as hades don’t line your pockets!!
But still ..... I think Hugs are Wonderful!!!
So my question to all of you is .....
How do you feel about giving ..... and getting Hugs???

I'm wondering if your friend ever really received an honest and true ~filled with every ounce of comfort one can give~ hug before...
Any form of kind human contact is so needed for everyone..I don't care how indiferent or 'numb' they they may be toward it...hugs are the most comforting gesture one can receive in my oppinion.
only person I enjoy giving or receiving hugs from are my kids,hubby and mother ..other than that don't touch me....heck don't even look at me if you can help it...jus leave me to ma own little world
Personaly I'm the type that loooooooooooves to hug, nothing can make you feel better than to be hugged.
I've been called a "snuggled bunny" many times...blushing...I loooooooooooooove to snuggle.
Oh the feel of a pair of big warm arms wrapped right around me, just can't beat it.
*Looks around. Hopes some one more huggable appears. They don't, shrugs.*

Aw! The first bit was a tease, but I meant the hug!
hugz and snogz now ya all know im the first one to give out hugz! i love hugz... im a very huggly person.. (big and cuddly like a teddy bear) lol i must admit tho... after a few weeks without a physical hug i can get quite emotional... i hug a bear in bed... (might seem childish) its comfort. i know a couple more of my friends do the same thing... im an emotional person... oh i dunno... im waffeling.... basically i love hugs. without hugz id be lost... tho i wont hug my family... they pushed me away once my friends r the only ones who get hugs. ok well...

And I honestly believe that it doesn’t matter who you are, ... whether you’re the toughest person walk’n the face of the earth ... or .... one of the tender hearted souls ....
Hugs are the epitome of that simple, and basic message, that each one of us need to hear from time to time ....
The message that “everything’s o.k.” .... that “someone acknowledges you” ... and maybe the most important .... simply that “someone cares!!”
On the other hand .....

I'm with you Dove on the "too huggy" type of ppl, it's great to be hugged but there is a limit to the length of time before a hug is more than just a hug
