Does anyone, other than me, think it is a coincidence that just as the war in Iraq commences several cases occur, albeit, in Asia, of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome break out? Hussein claims to have had a large stash of deadly nerve gases at his disposal! I say, had claimed, because now there are rumours going around that he is either dead or on the run. Wherever he is, he is bound to be without many of his subordinates, his large weapons cache and cylinders of deadly nerve gas...
So, am I only one to think it is more than just coincidence or are there Iraqi delegates floating around in Asia releasing a nerve agent that affects the lungs and respiratory system? We’ve had Pol Pot, Ceausceau, Stalin, Hitler, Bin Laden and always Hussein (and Castro)... so when will it all end? And how? Will there be germ warfare? And if so, how many millions will perish?
American scientists claim to have found the strain of flu that is SARS. Let’s hope they can find an antidote quickly because there are over 2,000 cases of the virus worldwide. Think about it! I want to hear what your opinions...
PS I'm sorry to keep bringing up Iraq. I'm not usually so political but this concerns me enormously!
sars is related to the common cold .. it has been floating about asia now for about 6-8 months more people get knoked down and killed everyday than the sars has affected people ... don't worry about it greay being . it is just like the hong kong chicken flu that affected the world about 3 years ago
Thanks for the info... I guess I was trying to lay blame on Saddam Hussein's door because of his suspected germ-warfare arsenal (Anthrax/WMD/Nerve gas etc).
Anyway, whatever the outcome I hope the war ends soon and that nothing is expelled into the air by Mr Bush's "friend" Saddam Hussein and we all live to see another three/four decades (however young or old: plenty of years left to live without fearing the worst)
