Ooooops ..... that was Bear ... Not Bare!!!

Sorry Tom ... LOL ....

The following message was brought to the forum by Tom .... (((((((You))))))
And I thought his question about which bear would win in a fight was a Good One!!!

So I've taken the liberty of rearranging this post and bringing it back to the top as I got to thinking that maybe all of you had simply missed it???

Thanks again for the input Tom ... as always ... you're very much appreciated!!!

Soooooooo ..... below ... please find Tom's original message and his challenge to each of us.
**************************************************

Hmmmm. The forum looked lonely because it hadn't been posted in for a while. So I thought I'd say something. er.... Now I just have to think what.

Rupert the Bear, Balloo, Paddington, or Whinny the Pooh. Which would win in a fight and why???

*****************************************************

Thanks again Tom!!!

True Garden Freindship

May 10 2003, 7:13 PM

Awwwwwww Tom ....
((((((((huggles .. snuggles ... and snogs))))))))

Aren’t you just the bee’s knee’s?????
Thank you for not deserting the Garden .... it does look lonely and un-attended doesn’t it???

~wipes some tears~

I’ve just had too many irons in the fire this past few weeks ... each one seeming critical ... and then leaving me feeling ... “what was actually so important about that deadline anyway???

~shaking head~

But .... ~looking about~ ... I’m thinking we should all just plan a garden get together / pic-nic ... and do a bit of pruning and planting, and general Garden tending .... don’t ya think we can get our Faery Garden back into good shape with just a little TLC ????

I’ll do my absolute best to be here as often as I can!!!

I miss the Garden!!!!
And of course .... that’s just to say that what I’m really missing ....
Are all my friends who come by to say hello ... each one bringing with them, their own brand of fun, and humor!!!

I love each and every one of you, and I’m honestly missing you all so much that it leaves me feeling empty and sad inside.
.... ~looking about for some tissue~ ....

Thank you for being here Tom ...
Ohhhhh ... and by the way .... here’s me thinking that I would have to put my money on Balloo in a fight.

My reasoning is more by deduction.

#1 - Winnie the Poo would no doubt either have a honey pot stuck on his head or be in search of one.
Sooooo he’s got little, or no focus ... for anything but honey!!!

#2 - Paddington I’ve always felt just simply empty headed ... always looking up in the sky for a cloud to watch or some such nonsense ... ~ muttering ~

#3 - Then there's Rupert .... he’s Tooo much into strategy and correctness to be of much use in any actual fight.
He's more like a politician isn't he?

Yup ... my money would be on Balloo!!
He’s Big and he can dance, which means light on his feet!!
He can focus on a job and doesn’t mind doing "what ever" he needs to, in order to get the job done!!!

~wink~

Next???

By the way ...... Do Bees actually have knees????

Hmmmmm
Which bear would WIN eh there is no doubt at all
for starters
1 Ballo (spelling) way to busy fartin about in the jungle eatin scratchin and what not

2 Rupert bit of a big gurls blouse if ya asks me and ya did

3 Winnie the pooh to fat and lazy and the wrong colour a dead giveaway in stalking that

4 Now hey Paddington hes one to watch ill tell ya doesnt wear the duffel coat for nothing hes packin big time glock 19 on his hip and a sawn off shotgun in the linning acts stupid to fool ppl and it works see above posts, deadly in hand to hand combat thanks to the bear claw style kung fu

Talk About A Big Gurls Blouse!!!

May 15 2003, 5:26 AM

Hmmmmm ...

Actually Merlin .... colour me surprised that you’d be back’n a bear who is affectionately known in his circle of friends as “Paddy”
~ shaking head here ~

And he packs a Glock 19????
Ohhh my gawwwwwd!!!
Talk about a big gurls blouse!!!

And that bear claw kung foo style of his???
Pahhhhhhh!!!
He developed that style from watching Saturday cartoons of Scooby Doo.
I'm doubting it's actually affective in a real fight!!

You are right about one thing here Merlin ...
The bear’s a nutter for sure!!
Completely un-predictable!!!
You’re more likely to find him drunk at the local pub, then in any kind of serious training.

Now Balloo on the other hand ..... spends almost every waking moment in the jungle .... Training and Eating ONLY that which helps him achieve his fight goals!!
That bear’s one with the nature spirits ... quick as a thought he is ....
And that’s why that Paddy bear would never so much as have a prayer against a warrior from birth bear like the Great Balloo!!!

LmfaoOOOooooo here!!!!
~ sticking tongue out @ Merlin ~

My money’s still on the Balloo bear!!

Guns??? Naw......

May 16 2003, 4:27 AM

Paddington never carried a gun. He might throw a marmalade snadwhich at some one, but that's hardly assualt with an offencive weapon is it?

~ looking way serious here ~

Tom .... someone hit me with a marmalade samich once ... right in the back of my head .... ~ sobbing ~ ... marmalade jam was all icky sticky in my long hair and it took forever to wash out .... it was traumatic to say the least!!!
You can’t tell me that wasn’t an offensive assault!!!
~ still shuddering at the memory ~

~ whispering ~

You’re right Merlin .... about Paddy Bear ....
Well in theory anyway.
I mean ....
Just that one never really knows do they???
The seemingly nicest soul in the world can turn out to be a stone killer.
And if they’re good .... you’d never ever suspect them would you???

~ thinking here of all the well groomed / suited up / smiling / hand shaking / politician types ....
Kissing babies and setting laws and rubbing elbows with the "well to do" types ...
Then pulling down the mask and kneeling folk in the street ... and .....
Never mind ..... ~ spits in disgust ~

My money's still on Balloo!!!

The bets are in. The first bell rings.

May 19 2003, 3:02 AM

Ding ding!
Paddington wobbles forward out of the red corner. Rupert bounces from the blue. They circle. Rupert goes for a cheeky swipe but Paddington bends over to chase a butterfly. Rupert misses and swivels, backs away.
Rupert lets out a howl and goes for a charge, Paddy side steps and watches as Rupert bounces off the ropes. Oh no! He's tangled up! Now is the Paddy pulling him free or garrotting him on his own scarf? Either way Paddy is through. Gosh Tiger Tim looks annoyed that his good friend has been bamboozled so early.
Next week: Balloo vs Fozzy.

id say that fozzy bear would definately win in a fight.
think about it like this if u gonna fight someone whats the best way to win? make them mad so they dont think too clearly. once they give up control of their emotions its over. fighting is a thinking game anyway kinda like chess 1 wrong move and its over.

Sorry folks. The fight has to be postponed as Balloo choked on a monkeynut when Fozzy told him the one about the Nun and the Cucumber field.
