To be .... Or Not To Be ....
“That” .... is indeed the question ...

It’s easy to see that our interest in the Faery Garden is waning these days.
And to be honest .... that includes my own.

I’m sure we all have the same excuses ... simply too busy doing “other” things.

The truth is after all, that there are only just so many hours in a day, and we each must decide for ourselves how we will best use, and benefit from how we spend our time.

I’ve given great thought of all the other projects I have going which seem to be requiring every ounce of energy I can find, and thus, literally and sucking up each moment of my day ....
And trying to find a balance for what’s important, and what’s not ...
Well ... it’s not an easy thing to do!
A genuine fear that I have is that some day I’ll reach my journey’s end ... only to discover that I wasted my life giving to much of my time to matters that in the grand scheme of things ... made little difference at all!!!

So in trying to find my own personal balance here ....
I have considered simply deleting the Garden ...

But truthfully .... the thought of loosing what little touch I have with all of you is just devastating to me .... in fact ... I’m reaching for the tissues to dry leaky eyes as I sit here typing.

I’m just not sure what I should do here,
And actually .... the truth is ...
The Faery Garden belongs to us all ... not just to me.

So I need to ask all of you .... what do you think???
Should we just allow the Faery Garden die a graceful death???
Slip away to become one of our pleasant past memories???
Or .....
Should I let the Faery Garden remain intact ...
Just accepting the fact that it’s not going to be the main focus of our days ...
But so that we all have the option of visiting when, and as we can???

I don't honestly know what to do here??
Help me out, will ya???
If we leave there Faery Garden in tact ...
Should we launch some kind of revival campaign???

If we want to try and revive it.
What can we do?
Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

The gardent cant die... i mean where would i come to read the posts on a sunday afternoon if this place disapears.... guess i'll have to start posting again... tho i think most of the time i aint qualified to post on the subject.

(tho i love all of em like lil bros and sis's its nice to have a place to have a more "adult" chats.. oh and Toms back at college... so he cant post hun... missing Tom

1. If the garden goes....where do i find you? I dont want to live life without my birdieeeee! sulking
2. Why do we have no chandaliers in this forum?
3. Birdie you need to stop putting others first and decide what is best for you (proud of John for stating the truth)
4. Sometimes i struggle to post here...Doc and I have no interest in politics or weapons...for a long time it was very politically based....was hard to come up with something to say!
5. I am sure doc would post more if his name wasnt already registered....by someone else! He loves u too birdie and misses you as much as I do...

I fall into the "as guilty as a guilty person can be" catagory.

Although i visit here often i read and leave feeling i have nothing to input,

but having said that it doesnt mean i wont....

I looked back at the email i got from you before after reading this thread and totally understand where you are coming from....

You have done well to fight the demons and retain everything you believe in.

As far as your projects, duties, and other commitments go you must do as you feel right.....every ounce of your day is only taken up because you are so generous with your time.

There is only one of you and clones are not available.

If you cant attend the garden every day, dont persecute yourself for being there for others or persuing what YOU want to do in the "real world".

See true friends wont go away, wont judge you or demand your attention....they will wait till there is a window and enjoy the time you share together.

I used to post at chatbites alot, but no longer do because i feel i cant add to anything.....I chat to 3 people on msn....for the same reasons.

If you remove this forum you are deleting a place where people do visit and contribute, maybe not always but they do.

No one can tell you what to do dove and i dont expect you to be here or start new threads or be any more than you can be.....i just want you to live life to the full and just be here when you can.

We know each other very well and i personally would like to see it stay because should i need to post to you or anyone else its here......and i know eventually you will see it and reply.

And with out the garden as a common meeting place ... a connection ...

Call me soft ... but I’m not tough enough, nor do I have what it takes to endure the horrible harshness of those places!!

All I can think of is .... “Gawwwwwwd these people are Soooo mean to one another!!!!
I seriously just cringe at the harshness!!!
Lively exchanges, to me are one thing ... and done with mutual respect and appreciation for individuality, I love them!!!
But I just can’t abide the abuse and disrespect I see strewn about, and heaped on others in those places!!
For me ....
The world is a harsh enough place to deal with ... and survive ... without going off in a search for more insensitivity, and inconsideration of each other.!!!

Here I've been posting away on all the other threads and just now got down to this one... sorry for the late arrival! lol

I know you need this garden...within it are you ties to those you care about most. I'm as guilty as the rest for not keeping in touch with those ties... and have the same reasons..

I'm not much into polotics and guns either.. I'll try to throw an odd comment in here and there but nothing that I could feel would be relavent to the topic so I usually just read a bit and move on.

This place is my 'get-away' a place to sit back enjoy the musings of everyone.. have some fun and relax.

I'll try to post deep and meaningful replies in areas when I have the strength LOL.. but honestly it's tuff to reach that far inside at times..ya know?

The new threads that have been posted are WONDERFUL! I sincerely encourage everyone in here to have some fun.. add your three little words to the cute little story that's growing away... check out the categories section and reply just for some fun and interaction... thats what it's all about interacting with one another

And what some of you have already said is spot on... it's the others that post and reply that make a forum just that.

There will be days...even weeks that might go by where we juts are dropping in to read or maybe not dropping in at all due to other things going on... but the garden needs to ALWAYS be here... so that when the day comes that we want to go and look at the flowers..tend it and water it a bit... we can. It's theraputic in a way I think... and bring on the jokes LOL...be spontanious... we all need to laugh and just be who we are.

And Nodding my head in total agreement...I have checked out some of those other forums you speak of...They are AWFUL, hurtfull places! I love this place! No one here is out to blatently start an argument, or w/o thought or reservation hurt anyone else. It seems to me that in this particular forum, we all are able to post our views and thoughts w/o offending anyone tooo terribly much...That's why I like it.....
I think that each and everyone of us that tend the garden, and pop in to smell the flowers are each very unique and wonderful people....I think that each and everyone of us can find some fun topics to post..Goofy topics...And serious topics as well.. We all come in for pretty much the same foundation..A getaway from the outside...Somewhere where we know that whatever we are posting is actually being heard by someone....We come in for interaction....Mental stimulus... We all come in for something...Tis why this place is soo wonderful.... NEWAY.... I am glad that we all love Dove sooooooo much! I am glad that we all love the garden soooooo much!
