If you had a the choice ..... Would you enjoy spending a month of complete solitude? In a beautiful natural setting? Food and shelter would be provided but .... You would NOT see another person??

Dovey honestly I couldnt do it!!!

I cannot be on my own...I get all freaked out and start getting paranoid about everything - I am such a people person that without that I feel like part of my life breath has been taken away...

Plus....I wouldnt want to live one single day without my loving Doctor...I would just miss him too much...

That would be me ... the truth is not only would I Love To spend a month in Solitude ....
I Actually HAVE Spent a month in total solitude ... and many longer stretches then that ... And Been More Then Content!!!
Total Peace and Contentment!!

Now don’t get me wrong ...
I Honestly LOVE people!!!
But I also love my solitude and very honestly need it sometimes.
Like a balance.
Know what I mean???

Some people need to have their alone time ... I just know that I couldnt do it - You might as well lock me up in the looney bin because I would be a nutcase by the end of that time! I think the longest I have spent on my own cant be more than a few hours - 1 day maximum - anything longer than that and I start talking to people in the street - anything for conversation!

Couldent be completely on my own.... i would have to have my dog... tho no bless him... (he has a stroke on weds)

so i dont know how long i will have him... but as long as i had my dog i would be fine.... hes my best pal.

I know how it is to love your 4 legged mate(s)
And it's as hard and sometimes harder to lose them then it is our two legged mates.

John will also feel in his heart own heart, the place where you are comming from about animal best pals.

As for the solitude thing... I dunno... I lik my peace and quiet but think I'd get really lonely after a day or two all by myself

I suppose I could do it as long as I had a computer that was connected to the internet! ~winks~

Thanx Dove... yeah i love my Jovi... even Tom knows if it came down to it Jovi even comes b4 him...

Jovi hasnt eatern again today... but im living in hope coz he is pottering about now... sigh

Anyways thanx Dove.... and as for Tom... i might be his girlfriend... but even i cant entise him online with saucy emails... lol....

I dunno Dove..... when he gets to mine on Sat (hoping college dont mess up again) I Promice i will sit him at puter and make him Type to ya! lol

As for one month...Couldn't do it...I could one week.
One week of being one with nature. Serious soul searching...Absolute quiet...Would do it, but only for one week....I tend to need a people fix after only 2 days of solitude....And my children...When my son goes to his dad's house for only 4 days, I start getting ancy and irritable....I can't go too long w/o seeing and holding my babies!!!

Yes, I could probably live in a natural setting, with food being provided for me, without seeing a single soul, BUT...

only for a short time. I do like my privacy and peace and quiet but there are times when I have been alone for a while that I do crave other people's attention.

I could only survive that kind of situation for a while. Unless, I actually got tired of other people's company and needed a break from everyone and everything!!

What about you Dove ??

I Absolutely LOVE My solitude!!
Have honestly been alone for much longer periods of time, then that of one month.

Here’s a question for everyone ....
To go along with this topic ...
If you were stranded on a beautiful desert island ...
With plenty of ..erm ... ~ thinking ~
What evers ... ya now ... (food, drink, and stuff) ... for taking care of the day to day living needs ...
Would you want to be stranded with a group of your best mates?
Or just one person?
