If you're petless at the moment...what about those dear friends of ours from the past??

This here is my little girl Haley Amber Rose...er.. but we just call her Haley



We found her on an interstate highway when she was about 6 months old.. about to get ran over.. so we rescued her. Listed her in the lost and found animals with the humain shelter and no one claimed her so we did!

And she's turned out to be the sweetest, most protective thing ever!! And sooo cuddly!LOL

I knew her name was Haley...However I didn't know the rest of her name! Thinking here....Didn't mom want to name me "Amber Rose"? Did I not name my favorite dollie "Amber Rose"? My dear sweet sister of mine....
You named your dog after my dollie!!!!!! Can't say you didn't....How long have I had my Amber Rose? 20 years now?????

I once had a dog named Salty...He was a german short hair pointer....My dear and departed grandfather got him for me....Wow...I miss both of them.....
No dogs for me right now....No fenced yard....It brakes my heart to see an animal chained.....
One day...I will have my yard fenced, and will find a black and white german short hair pointer with salt and pepper paws...Just like my Salty.....

Animals are my life if you know me....
you want to know what animals i have... i'll list em and tell ya about maybe one or two at a time... about prestent and past pets... i have got and have had many...

ok at the moment my pets are at their lowest in number... i have...

my Dog - Lab cross - rescued (Jovi )
2 cats... both rescued.... Muck and Smudge...
4 adult Giant afrian land snails.... and 100+ babies..
2 dwarf hamsters.. (rescue)
1 syrian hamster
2 rabbits left... used to have 13...
Guinea Pig
5 goldfish... (bless em) lol
1 hand tame talking cockatiel called Spud... my lil baby...
another hand tame cockatiel... that is in fact my mums...but i look after her.... wherly... (pearly wherly) lol
a budgie called Goldie (rescue)
20 avery cockatiels... ( 6 rescue)
54 zebra finches... (half of them are rescue)
9 avery budgies.... (7 rescued)

think thats all i got.....
i love em dearly...

Start with my Jovi... we have had him since he was 22 mnths... he was origionally bought by owner as a lorry companion dog...
then... when the owner couldent handle him coz he was too bouncy... gave him to his sister... who like me loved animals... but diddent know where to stop... she lived in a 3 bedroom flat with 3 kids and about 20 pets.. including a smaller dog.... summnt had to give... so she gave up on Jovi and handed him into a dogs home one morning... (that afternoon) mam and i went to look round... and saw him cowering in corner.... i took him on the lead and he pulled me out the gate and sat wanting to get in the car.... THAT WAS THE DOG FOR ME!! he was lucky bless him... (hes 13 now and was doing great till last weds.... i love him as my best mate and he has helped me though the most difficult parts of my life....)

Another couple of em that mean the world to me... are Muck and smudge...

Muck has a nasty and simple story... he was left in a house... neglected.... and with 12 other cats... he now has F.I.V... (human equivalent is H.I.V)

Smudge's story is horrid... bless her... i started working for a lady.. and she had this old cat that lived in the greenhouse.... "dont worry about her... JUST the CAT" she lives on the mice thats about...

Thing is she is a persian... (cost this woman about £500) her fur had got so matted that she couldent move out of the glasshouse.... (that there was a broken pannel for her to get in and out) covered in crap and matted... i asked if the owner REALLY wanted her... took her home... fed her..... she slept for weeks... in that time i shaved off her fur and loads of little meals.. now i have a pure breed persian... that is the MOST loving cat in the world

Yup, yup. That's exactly where I got the name from Cass..lol!

But it was so fitting for her:)

You doll should feel honored that she has a name sake now..heheee

But do you know that the reason Casalyn’s doll was called Amber Rose, was because her Mother Had Always wanted to Name one of her girls that!!!

So actually .....
Char was almost an Amber Rose .... then the name was Soooooo almost Casalyn’s name .... so the dollie ended up with it ... and now Char’s Dog ....

OK call me weird but i had a pet EEL yep one of those long slimy grey/silver fishy things, kept him in a fishtank for near two years till i was forced and i mean forced to let him go free and swim the seas once more awwww tears i miss that guy..
I'm not big on pets though, i like my freedom and not have to worry about what to do with the dog etc when i need to go on holiday..But fish i can deal with
