Awesome hairsticks / hairforks (eBay)

I found the most beautiful hair fork on eBay and thought I'd share the seller's info with all of you. I wanted to wait and make sure the quality was good before sharing the source.

The one I got is all wood dyed a variety of colors and with three prongs. It's very smooth, too, so it glides right into my hair without any ominous snapping sounds (and yet, never slipped!).

I'm so impressed! If you're interested, the seller ID is sewso-sewso. Right now they've only got one hairstick listed. It looks like the stuff graydogwoods makes... but more affordable! Just as impressive quality-wise, too. Isn't it pretty? :

I'm just going to have to venture onto EBay more often. I'm just afraid I'll be tempted by too many things! Thanks for posting, DB.

I love your new siggy pic!!! The timeline shows the awesome improvement in your hair health and the great growth you've gotten. The hair glove looks so good on you, too. Have you given it a test drive on the Harley, yet?

Thank you! And you know what's so funny to me about my pics is the varying shades of BLONDE, depending on the light. The most accurate color is the one with my hair in the glove... and nope, I've not had the opportunity to wear tje glove yet in "action" (lol), as Mike's bike is still in PA, where he's from (Hanover). He'll probably wait and get it this summer.

As far as growth goes, I've really not gained that much since I've been trimming off all the permed stuff. But lookout NOW 'cause I'm a charter member of the "No Cut Club"

thinking about getting something like that hair glove you are wearing - do you have any problems keeping it on? I quess, what I am asking - my ponytail is about 31/4" - will the thing stay on my hair?

Also, how is everything - my fingers are still crossed!

How are you!?! Good to be crossing paths with you again, as I'm here and gone so quickly these days. Things are going WELL with my BF and thank you for asking. The only thing "bad" is that now that I have a "life" I'm not playing around with all the things I wanted to make with my oils and herbs, etc. As things settle down though, I'll get back to it. I have so many EOs and carrier oils now and am wondering where I should keep them while I'm not using them too often. I know you know! Any advice would be appreciated.

Hair gloves have different designs in the way they hold the hair. The one Mike gave me actually has a barrette at the very top. I put my hair in a ponytail first and then attach the barrette right above it and then wrap the rest of the glove around the length of the ponytail. It snaps in the back. I've not worn it for any length of time, but if feels very secure. My ponytail is a little over 3", so you shouldn't have any problem with them, I wouldn't think.

Most of the other hairgloves I've seen have a little hook at the top that actually attaches (kind of hooks over) the rubber band that you use to make your ponytail. I'll probably get one of those too in a color that matches my hair better.

I hope you're fine Zoya! Are you still making all kinds of luscious lotions and potions?

I sure do - and I give them away to my friends who

complain about dry skin, so the army of oil/EO users grows here.

About your oils - just put them into the refrigerator -they'll be fine. Two things are bad for oils - heat and light.
Thanks for info about the hair glove - I am gonna drop by our local Harley store (my hubby is very excited about this prospective) and see what they have. Since I wash my hair every 6 days now, I need to survive through the day 5 and the glove will be perfect to hide my a little bit too oily length...

If you ever need to reach me - e-mail me vazokc@comcast.net.

Good luck, Avi!

I love my Graydog hairfork, and it sounds like yours is very similar so I know you'll love it, too. Mine is just a solid brown wood, but very lovely. I would love to find a multi-colored one likes yours, though. Of course, I'm mainly collecting toys rather than using them, as I'm so addicted to simply braiding. I've got to do something fancier with my hair one of these days and use those toys! Congrats on your win! Can you post a pic of it?
