After reading all the raves for Mode de Vie's vanilla shea butter conditioner on naturallycurly.com, I had to try this for myself. I had to order it online, as I was not able to find mode de vie at wholefoods or any other local stores.

I tried the shea butter conditioner for the first time last Thursday, and again last night. The consistency is a bit thin, but that makes it easy to spread throughout the length of my hair. I left it about 5 minutes, then rinsed most but not all of it out. My hair was soooo soft and moisturized, and easy to detangle. The conditioner smells like berries & vanilla, but not the synthetic sickly sweet kind of scent.

Ingredients: purified water, quaternium 27, shea butter, vanilla essential oil, tropical tree extract (zadirachta indica).

I looked up zadirachta indica online, which turns out to be the latin name for neem. No fragrance is listed on the label, so I'm not sure where the berry scent comes from.

I would definitely buy this product again!
