Hi TammySue, no flying objects coming your way. I wish I could have sent my un-used SoLong to you tho. I did return it for an exchange so in essence got my money back. Wanita just sent me an e-mail telling me to go check out your post. Actually I have never visited this board before. I don't know why, just skipped over it I guess. I think it's interesting how different products work for each of us. Most of the Curly Girl things would not work for me but I always read with interest. I find it interesting that we have the same hair type but SoLong worked so differently for both of us. Water and climate might make a difference. I notice my products work differently for me when I am away from home. Did you try the stuff that you are supposed to use to protect your hair from heat styling? This is what really fried my hair. I used my usual flocked rollers but my hair literally fried. I had to do major dusting and a trim. I have never had that happen with my flocked rollers before or after. I do find it interesting that we have the same hair type and are at such opposite ends on this stuff. But perhaps the other variables are what make the difference. TB hated the L'Anza for long hair. I liked it at first but it quit being as good for me as I thought it was. It ended up being an "OK" but not something I really loved. I'm trying the new L'Anza for long hair. So far it's just ok too. There isn't anything that's just perfect for me. I wish I could find something that worked all the time. I have to switch products at least every other shampoo or I am a gunky mess. Are you a fan of Redken All Soft? I love that stuff. Love the honey smell. The Heavy Cream worked really nice for me. I'm almost ready to buy my 3rd tube of it and I usually don' purchase things even a second time. All Soft and Origins porducts being the big exceptions. Glad you liked SoLong. I had such high hopes for it when it came out and I really tried with it. I used it 3 consecutive days but was afraid I wouldn't have any hair left if I kept on with it. You know we should all get together and have a big hair convention and trade things
