i'm such a control freak, i've been wanting to do this for awhile. i haven't ever been able to find a lotion that felt good and didn't make me break out. don't know if this one will be any better, but i like that i can put exactly what i want into it. here's what i used, if anyone's curious:
i left out the cetyl alcohol, cause i think it gives me zits, so my lotion is on the thinner side, but that's actually good since my skin isn't that dry. if this works, i'm going to try adding titanium dioxide to it to make a sunscreen (crossing fingers)

I should start making my own facial moisturizer -- my skin is such a mess!! I used to use the oil free face lotion from the body shop and it was FANTASTIC -- but of course, they discontinued it a couple of years ago, leaving me to try every moisturizer under the sun and not finding one I like half as much! Boy, i wish i had written down what the ingredients were in that moisturizer...
