Some info on my vit routine if your interested :)

Actually I am out of a lot of these vits at the moment. Seems like I ran out of everything at the same time LOL
I am sending an order into http://www.puritanspride.com this weekend.
I also order from http://www.webvitamins.com
Of course it's good to give your body a break from all the supplements too.

I started to add vits to my small list of B complex, vit E, and folic acid in March 01'. It took me about 3-4 months to get everying. I spaced about 2-3 week between vitamins.

This is my variation of Bargello's routine. This has been trial and error for almost 2 years. I am very happy with the results I see

*Morning or Afternoon
1 Country Life Hair Maximized
1 Natrol Multi (I rotate the Women's Multi & Prenatal every 45 days)
1 Vitamin World Brewer's Yeast 500mg
1 Vita Smart Flax Oil Gel 1000mg
1 MSM 1000mg
1 Earthrise Chollera
1 Vitamin World Ester C with bioflavonoids 500mg
1 Vitasmart Lecithin

*Evening
1 Country Life Hair Maximized
1 Natrol Multi (I rotate the Women's Multi & Prenatal every 45 days)
1 Country Life Super Biotin
1 Vitamin World Brewer's Yeast 500mg
1 Earthrise Chollera
1 MSM 1000mg (sometimes I will take an extra one)
1 Vitamin World Silica Complex
1 Vita Smart Lecithin 400mg

*Protein Drink
Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex Chocolate Powder
I really think this helps my growth
Bargello also drank this same drink. I remember her saying protien is very important for hair growth.
This past Spring I got a steady 3/4 - 1 a month while drinking it at least 5 days a week.
I found it the cheapest at http://www.vitaminshoppe.com

Also, I prefer Country Life Maxi Hair Maximized instead of the Ultra Nourishair. I have had a steady 1/2 of growth all winter with these vits. No slowing down like it did when I to UN. There is more biotin in the CL also. Just thought I would pass that info along to you too.

I love it.

I think I will use a routine similar to yours. I just HATE taking vitamins -- I feel like they jut sit in my belly in a big lump. I like the idea of splitting them up into a am/pm routine. Now if I can just remember to take them!

Go for to the Dollar Store and get ye some pill boxes. I have some really cute little pill boxes for our local Dollar Store. The are pretty and fit well into a purse or bag. Kmart has nice little vitamin organizers. I have a large one and a small one. I have it on my nightstand so I remember.

I have a tendency to forget also. I either dont eat enough at Breakfast or I dont want to chug my vits down at work. Get tired of hearing 'oh my gosh are you sick, look how many vits' LOL

I have not been steady because I have been out of everything and just using that time to let my body rest. Right now I am just taking 2 CLHM, 2 Lecithin, 1 Flaxoil, and a B complex.
It seems to work as well but I just dont feel as perky and healthy as I do with all my other vits. I am ready to reorder.

Send for a puritan pride catalog and you will be in vitamin heaven

I'm making myself a new routine.. Valentina gave me some great info on what supplements are helpful for people with Crohn's disease, so I'm planning on taking those. (They are talking about surgery now so I have to really try..) Much of the same stuff everyone takes here, but some in very high doses, like a total of 8 grams of fatty acids a day...
Anyway, I'll be in the States this spring and I'm looking forward to some serious vitamin shopping!!
And I agree about the protein. It is especially helpful with new growth. I'm taking a soy powder supplement with kefir. I'm trying to have a bowl every day. I hardly ever eat meat so otherwise I just go doughnut, LOL!!!

I will send good vibes to you for your possible surgery.

About vits, I have not been doing my regular routine for about 6 weeks and I can tell a difference. My hair only grew 1/4 of an inch this past month.

I know I feel better on my routine and my hair growth really pics up.

That's way less than usual, but I just figure that I have these months with hardly any growth. The sum total of one year is still above average..
Getting enough protein is really hard to do for me.. If I eat out I always get a nice amount of protein. Guess I should just eat out every day LOL!
I'm downing some soy-kefir right now
I'm really against surgigally removing any parts of me and I hope it doesn't come to that.
