Weight Brackets

The rules say 60" from centerline of axle. Does that mean to the front of the weight bracket or to anything that is hanging from in front of the bracket.

That to the furthest object on the weight bar ... or what ever sticks out the furthest .... 60" from that too the center line of front axle..

Now you may get away with a clevis hanging from the weight bar for towing purposes.

out trucks, keep in mind any tilt. I drop a plumb from the furthest forward point, except the forward tow ring. I have measured a few that were 60 only if you jacked the front end way up, with an engine an dall the weight they would be leaning and be over 60".

Thats why I built my bracket a couple inches short to allow for weight angle.
