| What would be a good manual tranny to put behind a hot 460? I think I'm going to start looking for the parts needed to do this swap. |

I think if you got a tranny out of a 70's model 3/4 or 1 ton ford, maybe a Lakewood bellhousing for the swap in case the flywheel blows up it won't saw your leg off. And you will have to get the clutch/brake pedal assembly for under the dash. How come you want to go to a manuel? |

Put the GM SM465 with the profab kit in it. You will need the gears to run the class you are trying to run. Are you gonna be there tommorow night?

Well, to get the wheel speed I'm looking for, I think a manual tranny will be a better option.
Travis, no, I can't make it to Eminence because I had to spend to much time this last month helping my daughter with her horse to get ready for 4h and couldn't get the truck ready. Looks like the first ITPA pull I can make will be Rochester. In the mean time, I'm going to make a couple of test and tune runs at a couple of local pulls. |
