Still not quite there but getting closer and have some more things to change. We had some gremlins that we are still working out of the truck. For a complete write up you can read about my weekend on my website.

Long story short. We bumped tire presure to 15 PSI and then in the heavy class we took 2 plates out. We hope to get some different racks built and then be able to move some weight off of the rear axel (currently directly above). With the new parts we couldn't get more then 3K out of it but we think by moving weight it might break loose. Everyone said that it was starting too just before the pan hit and the motor sounded great and we think has more in it. This afternoon I will try and post some pics of the new paint job.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I am sure we will get it sooner or later. Now that we are within a hundred feet I feel better about it and look forward to the next pulls. We have a couple of weeks and then we are headed out a couple of hours to Scribner, NE, then we will stay the night in Fremont and pull in Wahoo the next night. Gotta wait a couple of weeks though. Kind of nice to only have to change a few parts this time...

BTW... Got some pics of the truck on my site.
