Just an fyi... I know the guy that has that site. This is just for the diesels. The gassers are a few select people from the NPPA. This is the way I understand it but you could double check to make sure.

how come Yesdeere is saying no gassers?>???????? I still won't be able to go. It would take a miricle to get my truck put back together. Engine is apart and rear end is out of it. I'm kind of wondering if I will have it back together for Mitchell.haha
Let me clarify... Those payouts are for the diesel trucks. I do not know what the payout is for the gassers. I know that there are a select few NPPA guys going. Perhaps I am wrong and they will let anyone pull. I am just saying contact someone at the pull before you haul your truck there. Todd is heading up the diesels. Does that make more sense?
I kind of wondered about the payout. Don't really care about that anyway. Sounds kind of stupid but when I've got to start worring about payouts is when I stop pulling. Payouts would make a good topic someday.
you cant tell me that the NPPA Street Modified 4x4s are street legal, Todd said i could pull 5300lbs or 5300+lbs in the street legal class and he doesnt not sure who is actually solely responsible for the pull. He said he would get you answers too all of that here in the
next couple of days.
That makes more sense. They must have a class that the NPPA pulls or they do an exhibition pass and then they have street trucks. My bad. Sorry for the confusion.
think your right, they said somthing about a modfieid 4x4 6200lb class, didnt ask for details on it because my truck is more of a straight stock right now anyway
Thanks for the schedule. Thats exciting. Maybe now I won't need to do the CTTPA. What about the Mitchell pull???? Thats kind of wierd thier doing it.Mmmmmm

I was looking at the rules and they are all stock also. The way things are looking I might just have to go to Pro-Stock. Nobody is allowing Mildly souped up trucks. I don't know what its coming to with all these rules anymore. Thanks for posting it anyways. Keep looking.
Digger. I would say that the NPPA trucks are far from stock... 2 ton rears & bar tires, what else do you want? Yes they are called Street Modified but I doubt that any are street legal.
You don't have to but you can. Keep in mind this is just a name. Remember a ton doesn't make you any more power it just helps you put it to the ground. CID, HP, and fuel are a few of the differences. The NPPA 2wd & 4x4 Street Mod classes are an entry level class for a person that wants a dedicated puller and wants something over street stock. In other areas of the country I would guess that they would be called Pro-Stock or something along those lines. The 4x4 classes are setup so those guys can go pull Outlaw if they want too. The Street Mod guys put on DOT's and go hook Pro-Stock and the Mods hook with the Mods.
Does that help clear some of the confusion?

Jimmy 400 has a list of rules for this diesel truck pull coming up in March listed above. With what he said I can't pull because of the rules. And he then put up another web site for a Platt Valley Pullers Assoc. so I went to that site and looked in the rules section and they have maybe 6 classes of stupid tractors and one class of 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive trucks which I read the rules and they are also too stock for me. Must have license plates, insurance... I don't see nothing about having 2 ton axles. If you know of another truck pulling association let me know. But with the Two associations that Jimmy 400 has told me about, I dought they would let me pull.
Sorry Digger. You were referring to the Platt Valley Pullers and I thought that you were talking about the Nebraska Power Pullers. There link is http://nepowerpullers.com/. They will have some trucks there but I am not sure if they will let others into those classes. Hope that helps a bit.
I looked at the Nebraska Power Pullers Home Page and it said they welcomed new members and pullers. I would like to go pull with them but they are way to far away. Thanks for the link.
wouldnt hurt to see if they would let you pull digger for exhibition match, they have phone numbers for each pull contact, i would be willin to pull against you. maybe we could get them to start a street mod class ya never know. i know a few guys around there that would pull that
