Hi everyone...it's been a long time since I posted here and couldn't find the site.
Anyway, it's going to be close for me, but as of now I think I will make it. Had some serious family issues come up Sunday. Finished putting the motor together today and will attempt to dyno the 468 tomorrow. If all goes well and I don't have anymore family issues I should be there the Lord willing.
It looks as though there will be a good turn out. I'm still trying to get use to my clutch setup...drove that danged automatic tooooo long. Along with never using a double disc clutch before. Just new, I'll get the hang of it.
Hope to see as many as possible their.
Later, Bret

There was a guy in the organization I pull in that had an automatic and for years he always finished 3rd or 4th in the points. Everyone always said if he put a manuel in his truck he would be a problem. He ended up selling the truck and the new owner installed a manuel and guess what... First in points.
Brett, I've always read your posts on 460ford .com and have tried to get some feedback from you since you run Iron Cobra Jet heads and I just got a set. Can't remember what the questions were right now but hope you stick around here. Seems like 460ford.com people either have aluminum heads or Iron Doves. The cast iron Cobra Jets are not very popular????
