Well im back from kearney, i chickened out of running modified (in the end it was a good thing) just because I wasnt prepared at all to pull really. Signed up for street stock 5300lb under and 5300lb over. The track was a really hard 250ft one, you could see tire marks on the dirt from the antiquers earlier that day. The sled was one i never hooked to or even seen cauled "ol busch" it was kinda like hooking like colorado's deep impact with the shorter chain. I got footage of my run but waiting to get it emailed to me to upload. My first pull was pretty much what i expected, i was bouncing like a frigen jack rappit, did pretty well considering my tires wernt toching the ground for half the pull, the boucning got so bad toward the end i let up then hit it again. that didnt help then i herd a "ping" sound and quick i was like great that was the u-joint, but it wasnt and i didnt know what it was till i unhook. it was my bumper turned into a horse shoe shape. the officials let me pull the next class but they thought for sure it was gonna snap during the pull. I droped 5psi on the front and went low low to get the wheel speed to a min, so i wouldnt break the bumper. I decent pull all and all but i know what to do for my next one. got some pics of trucks during the day waiting for the pull.

Looks like you had fun. I know what you mean by hopping. Maybe some blocks for the backend will help. Did you see anybody from Colorado?

no i didnt see and cttpa guys there, they would have knocked those so-called nerbaska mods around though i think. I would have hate to see them go against real mod 4x4 likes from the cttpa or nppa or pretty much where ever else.

Looks good. The Orange Ford is SledHog. He pulls with the NPPA in the Street Modified class. Glad you had a good time. Were there any 2wd's out there? If so do you have any pics?

Dang... I thought some of the NPPA guys were going. Ol' Busch was dropping the hammer on them. I think those trucks are 540CID.
