I was asked to find out what the best way to check for additives in gasoline would be by our stock class reps. at our last meeting. We are looking for a cheap method to do this fairly. Does anyone have any ideas. Also, what are some common additives that really work?

A quick search on the 'net came up with this device http://www.digatronusa.com/pricing-fuel-tester.shtml
For an organization to test for fuel, they need base line samples of known virgin fuel. Our organization went so far as to have a list of fuels that we are allowed to use because each fuel has a different color, and one of the tests is to check for color.
For more specific information I'd suggest talking to any of the Racing fuel manufactures.

Would you mind sharing the list of fuels with me and the name of the club. My club is the middle tn pullers association. I am just trying to help them get things right.

Thank you. that site is a great help and I hope something that will go along way toward getting a few of our rules right. If anyone else has something to share I would love to hear it and see it. Love to know what some real additives that work are. If there ar any out there
