I'll take some better pics of mounts and other items for you tomorrow, and add them to this post for you.
There are other ways to make it fit than the way I did it on this engine....When I put the new engine in I'm gonna change it up a bit. I'll stay in contact with you on it.
Does this mean you're gonna MOVE UP A CLASS?????

You gonna come play with the NPPA over on our side of the state? Hell one of the guys I know if letting his son take over the 4x4 truck and he is taking the 2wd truck next year. The son goes to school on your campus (just started this year).
Oh and Congrats on moving up.

Header fit
November 16 2007, 9:28 AM
Adrian,
How close is the header tubes to the master cylinder? From the picture, it looks like is durn near touching.
To bad im not still going to school there. I Graduated about 3 months ago. School has been all paid off now. So now i can get down to buisness with this pulling stuff. It would be cool to make it up to a NPPA pull next year I still havnt been to one. Thats the cool thing about my area got pulling orgs east west and south of me close by. But yea i just picked up a 1970 xtra long box gmc 3/4 2wd with a big block and a 14 bolt rear.
With this combo...I used a 1980 engine mount cross member. This put everything 2 inches forward. This enabled me to have clearance for my distributor and valve covers. The downside was that the transmission and t-case had to move too.....(had to cut the holes in shifter region more forward. It works fine but not what I'm gonna do on my other truck. On the new install I'll mount everything in stock location, and bash the firewall in to fit everything. Also, I had to remove heater core and power brakes to fit headers. I'll take pics of header holes through hood next. Your headers will be offset so the holes will not be even.
