Sunday dinner, but you can go 150 miles for a pull
*You have not been to your family reunion for years because it is scheduled
the same Saturday as the big pull of the season
*I need a little help fixing the truck means forget the cleaning, washing,
and dinner; the morning's shot
*The pulling truck gets waxed more often that your floors
*You can't make it to church on time, but can be an hour and half early to a
truck pull
*The UPS man cannot believe that little boxes can costs that much

DON'T YOU JUST HATE IT WHEN---
-You forget to turn your fuel pump on and your just past the false start line.
-You go to the scale being assured you put enough weight on your truck and the scale indicates your 30 lbs light and your trailer is about 400 yards away.
-Its 100 degrees outside, nature calls and the only porta potty is basking in the hot sun with an inside temperture of about 140 degrees.
-You work all night long on your machine and the pull is rained out the next day.
-Your job gets in the way of truck pulling.
-Your truck breaks at the biggest pull of the year.
-You drive like a lunatic at your hometown pull and end up at the bottom of the class.
-You have the only truly stock truck in the stock class.
-You're cheating and somebody else beats you that is cheating worse than you are.
-Your the first puller and you turn down a winning pull only to go 10' less on the second attempt and place out of the money.
-You protest a puller and you lose your protest money.
-It rains and you get your vehicle stuck in the mud.
