Looks good man,

I added you to my friends on your other site. Funny story on the acquisition of your truck.

Here's aquestion for you....

Did you decide to run the tires you have for any particular reason? Have you tried a more aggressive tire yet?

Check the sites I sent you....Those are the BBC masters, and will definitely help you make BIG power!!!

A........

Thank you, I received your other message too and will take a look at those sites. As for the tires, another local guy in my area has been running very similar tires for the past couple years, and has been fairly successful with them. When we had an opportunity to buy the set of four, we decided to give it a try. They are a late model dirt track American Racer Tire from the sd-28 compound. (Very Soft rubber). Only real problem is if you come out of the hole hard they have a tendency to bounce like a basket ball. Once that settles down they grip like there is no tomorrow. We had a more aggressive tire on the truck, but we don't have the power to turn them when we had to go back to our stock 350. The circumference of these tires is only 88 inches, so we had dropped almost 9 inches, allowing us to come up higher in the RPM band, and make up for the power loss.

Nice site. Question, how did you get the video clips to appear with the picture? I've been wanting to do that, but haven't figured out how to do it yet.

Thanks
Alan

Well... this is how I did it... I am using vista, though that shouldn't matter... I have the videos in a folder on my computer and I viewed the folder as extra large icons, and then I took a screen shot and cut each of the movies icons out.. (Thats why you see the winamp icon on the corner of each of them..) If you need help with it e-mail me and I will walk you through it step by step.

Checked it out, not bad. Just a quick question. Watch the video and was wondering how many R's your motor pulls?? It sounds like its in to high of gear? Or is that the way its set up? What class do you pull in that they let you hang weight out front.Well keep it rockin!!

I am not sure which video you were watching, typically we are turning 6000-6500 rpm on the Small block in second gear and low range on the transfer case. We have a sm465 gearbox and 208 transfer case, with 3.73 gears in the diffs. The class we run in, its called 5200# Tuff trucks. Basically we can run any motor under 528 cubes, with one carb, any intake, and only cast iron heads. It has to run on Gas, (No turbo, blowers, nitro, or alky.). Has to have a remote shutdown and all the common safety gear.
