DieselEater refered me here, thanks. A little info on me. I run a 463 alky inj bbc in local brush pulls. we started with 3 "Team Hilbilly" trucks and are now down to two, mine is blue. This truck and motor are currently forsale so I start my new project "Overdraft" named for what my bank account will be when finished. currently have most of the hardware less motor. F106 rear, GM 2.5 front, elec over hydro stearing, frame, fiberglass body, SCS t-case etc. check out our website www.hilbillytruckpulling.com to see pulls from summer '07

I wish we could run a single toliet here in Indiana. It would end up costing less than a single carb and be easier to tune. Are you guys limited to iron heads, or just the stock pattern head?? And we all know that when you run aftermarket parts there is no price difference.
Welcome to the site. Its always good to see a Chevy.

heads depend on what class you run. I was running in the iron head class then added the toilet wich put me up w/ the open guys. been running with them for two years and just don't have the power(700hp/600ft) or truck to keep up with 'em. so time to built a different one, this shit is a disease

Your truck looks like it is doing what it is supposed to, so why not put a better set of heads(and intake) and such and see what happens? What is the drivetrain in the truck in the pic?? When you say open class is this pretty much the same as promod trucks?? 34 cepeks, 650 cubes and such???
Our "open" class is run what you brung. The local pulls have escalated very quickly in that 3 years. My blue truck is nothing special th400 5500 stall, 14ff welded, d44 spool ctm's 4340 shafts, 205tc. I have to pull with guys' running F106 rears and Profab's w/ reverser's, motors spin'n 9k rpm. It's time to build something better
Glad to see you came over for a look......These furd guys are pretty ok over here...
This site is pretty active, so check in as often as you can. I've learned everything about truck set up from this site, so I'm hoping to kick butt in 08!
Well I have to interject something here. What I have learned over the years the more you say about how good things will be, normally they get worse. So it is easier to say my old pyle of junk ran pretty good tonight after the show is over, than to say you are gonna kick a__ before the show starts.

I don't believe in luck, either I'll do good, or I won't. I don't even care if I make a dime in winnings all year...As long as I'm having a great time and beatin' sum furds...
Go CLONES!!!! ISU fan myself. Make it up that way once in a while (not for pulling). Actually stopped to eat there a few days after Thanksgiving at Hickory Park. Not many of the small cube alky guys around anymore. I know a few of them down here but most are done pulling or have moved onto big blocks.
