The U-Pull it junkyards ( I mean auto parts recyclers ) around here get $45 for x-fer cases.
I picked up a Dana 20 Divorced for $45. Say what? No Dana 20 Divorced. This one has the $600.00 Advance Adapters kit that makes it Divorced. I don't need it for anything, but for $45 I figured what the heck, it's different !! Anybody looking for a divorced Dana 20 for an off-roader or something ?? I have one, will sell.

I don't have any pics of the 20 and it's kinda buried under a bunch of junk out in the garage. All I know about it is I took it out of an old Datsun which was converted to 4wd. It says Advance Adapters on the input bearing retainer. I also looked up the kit in the Advance Adapters catalog and it had a price tag of around $600 for the kit. Even around here (Eastern Pa.)the supply of Divorced 205s is drying up.(at least in the U-Pull it yards).

Same here. Blew one are to cases apart. Any ideas on how to make a 208 divorced. I thought about using am t case adapter and shaft out of a 4 speed with a plate and bearings on it. I dunno if it would work. I want to put the motor in the grill but I want to use an auto so I need the gear reduction of the 208. Bummer right. That is one reason I was asking about how some of the older 4 wheel drive trucks used the homemade chain drive set-ups.
