NP Out of F600/700January 17 2008 at 8:52 AM | Anonymous (Login 3PPulling) from IP address 12.10.17.100 |
| I was wondering how the NP Transmission out of an F600/700 compares to the NP 435 out of a 74 F250. Obviously, it has the larger input shaft and output shaft with the larger yoke which I am going for. I know I would need to change my clutch centers and have a new pilot bushing made. Do they have the same 2nd gear ratio-3.34?? Input shaft length?? bolt pattern?? will the center hole of the bellhousing need to be modified?? Also, would finding a throwout bearing that will work be an issue?? To go along with that, would I be able to use my original clutch fork?? Just wondering how much modifying I would need to do to run the NP out of the F600/700 instead of the standard NP that I am running now. If anyone is running an NP out of the larger F series trucks please let me know what you had to do to make it work.
Thanks, |

i'm not running a np, but a clark transmission out of a f700, a good site for gear ratios is members.cox.net/jeepinrandy/refferenceinfo/transinfo.htm , that is as long as you have the model of the tranny |
