Conducting some research so please be candid.
What do you guy's like to see in a pulling related website, A. as a puller, and B. as a fan. Also, what content gets you guy's (and gals) coming back to the site. Also if you could, give me links to websites that have content you like.
I have some ideas, but I would like to hear from all of you. My goals are 2 fold, one is to improve ITPA's website, and the other is the development of my own website.
Well I have a web site that I put togeather . but it's more member based then anything else . It's to let the members know what's going on in the club.
www.wumpapullers.com
It's had 1763 hits last year so I know it's being seen by somebody.

My goal for the ITPA website is a website that gives the pullers what they need, but also gives the fans a place to go on a regular basis to keep up to date with their favorite pullers. So far the members haven't been too helpful with information.... ITPA's average daily hits for the past week is about 1300, which is pretty good, but if we can get the right content up there, the hit counter will climb significantly, which would be a good lure for potential sponsors and advertisers.
i pull with both clubs anjd they are ok sites
but i would like to see a site with more info on the truck and drivers and also more about them
as in famly
they ocupation
hobbies
yrs pulling
kinda like a bio
and possibly something like a truck of the week
and have a write up and interview with the owner and or driver
and of course a for sale section
and for the fans some good info on how to get started in pulling
hope this helps

I would like to see a local forum site where if you needed to talk to a fellow puller you wouldn't have to bore everyone else to death on this forum. Like where Frostbite and I would talk about a pull in Mitchell Nebraska we could talk about it on the C.T.T.P.A. website forum instead of hear. We used to have it but they discontinued it because we were whinning too much.
I liked our site last year......It had the results of every pull posted a week after the event..With the names of the trucks hi-lighted as a link to a vid of the individual pull...
They had to re-build this year, so I hope they do it like last year.

Allen, What happened to the driver bios we were all going to fill out? If that is what the fans want to see, thats what we should put up. Also could you make a point on the site where visitors could tell you what they want to see? I know as I have been working on my site I keep thinking of new things, but they are more focused on the individual team. I'll keep thinking about improvements.

Alex,
No one filled out a form and gave it to me. That's why I haven't done more with it.
