I believe the performer rpm or rpm air gap is as good or better then the stealth.

I was hoping that there was something with a little more rpm potential than either of those. I know that it is a dual plane though.

What sort of RPM are you looking for? When I ran the performer RPM air gap, it was un touched on a set of ported D3's and I was seeing 6300 rpm all the time. Brett would know better than I, but I'm guessing that even with a ported dual plane and a good set of heads, 6800 is maxing out the intake.
That's kind've the purpose of a dual plane rule. RPM is limited, so it makes the class more "affordable".

I am looking to get up in mid to high sevens. Alot of the guys here are running big block fords up there with the stealths, but they all say that the intake is the limiting factor on their motor. Right now we are cast cobra jet so 5800-6300 is about were we are at. Also we cant use a 4500 base and we can only use a 1 inch spacer that is divided all the way. One guy running a small motor is using the air gap turning his combo upwards of mid 8s. Just curious as to what is out there. To bad I cant figure out a way to make a dominator into a 4150 base. Any ideas.

I'm surprised their getting those kind've revs with a dual plane. Must have a LOT of work done to them. On the carb, I do know that an 850dp can be made to flow close to a stock 1050 dommy, but don't have any particulars. What heads will you be useing?

A good set of cobra jet heads. We are going to a roller this year also. Could have last year but stuck with the solid lift because it was all new and they changed the rule right before the season. We have to pull 15 pounds of vac at 1000 rpm. No cube limit in this class but it has to be factory stuff no SVO. One guy is running a Ford over 570, I was told you could go huge with an old dump truck block but, I have know idea on the particulars. I know Price was wotking on a New single plan that was cool but it was a proto type I didnt know if someone might be doing something with a dual plane intake like that.
i ran unported dooe-r's, an unported stealth, an 850 carb with a 1" open spacer, and a good size solid roller. with a 27.5:1 final ratio and 33's i ran 6800-7200 with an occasional 7500 rpm blast. i went to a 25.9:1 and the rs went to 6500-7000. the stealth is rated to 6800 rpm but is probably about out of breath at that point but your carb might be more your limiting factor when you cant run an open spacer.

Anyideason howto help things out on top. We started with a single line single pump rule so we had a dom built that way then we changed to you can run anything except a dom base or a pred carb. its a funny bunch topull with really but we have about 30 pulls without driving everywhere so that is why we stay and adjust.

There are more than a few small base carbs out there that claim 1000 and 1050 cfm I beleive BArry Grant is one of them - not cheap though
